BONSMARA

The Bonsmara is a breed of cattle known for its high quality beef. Originating in South Africa as a scientific experiment of professor Jan Bonsma, the Bonsmara was created after many cross matings and backcrosses consisting of five-eighths Afrikaner (Sanga-type), three-sixteenths Hereford, and three-sixteenths Shorthorn (both taurine types).

South America Land and Cattle Company is a member of the Asociacion Argentina de Criadores de Bonsmara. Our stock is registered in the South Africa stud book. We do performance testing as a prerequisite for membership to the Bonsmara Breeders Society.

BRANGUS

A Brangus is a hardy and popular breed of beef cattle, a cross between an Angus and a Brahman. An animal eligible for registration as a Brangus cattle is 5/8 Angus and 3/8 Brahman. (Brangus is a registered trademark of the IBBA)
